Alba Ray is an early white-fruited variety with high yield and an unusual appearance. The maturity period is 85–95 days. The fruits are large and elongated, weighing 300–400 g, with white or white-purple skin. The flesh is tender and firm, without bitterness, and has a mild, pleasant flavor.
The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 0.8–1.1 m, develops well, and consistently sets fruit. The recommended planting density is 5–6 plants per m². The yield is high, at 40–60 t/ha. The variety is resistant to diseases and adverse growing conditions.
Alba Ray is ideal for frying, baking, grilling, stewing, canning, and freezing. The fruits do not darken after cutting, retain their shape well, and have an attractive marketable appearance.
